Great midway stop from Salt Lake to Vegas. Friendly staff, delicious food. Highly recommend!
Love the Mexican food here. The way they season their beef is awesome. The service is fast and friendly.
Food was awesome...cant wait to go back. Wait staff a little harried... waited for a box and our check. If she acknowledged us with a nod or a "just a minute" I'd give it 5
The waitress was incredibly nice and the king enchilada was amazing. We didn't order dessert but now seeing the reviews I wish I had. The chips and salsa was very good and you could taste the cilantro in the salsa. Its a very cute restaurant and the food came extremely quickly.
Fantastic Mexican food here. Chips and salsa where fantastic. I had a bean and cheese burrito. It was perfect
Amazing authentic Mexican food. Salsa and bean bar. Great service. Good cheap prices. Specials daily.
The decor of this place is the only thing that reminded me of home. The food fell short of expectations in every category. People that have a very mild tongue might like this place. Red sauces and salsa had a heavy tomato base. Who raps of green chili and cheese in an omelet and calls it a relleno? This place does. Very polite staff with average service.
The staff are so happy to see their customers and they are always friendly and courteous. Good quality food and pleasant small town atmosphere
Some of the waitresses are not very enthused about working to make your visit a perfect one. Yeah, we've tried this restaurant twice and it was the same on both occasions. We won't be back.
Great spot for delicious authentic Mexican food. I tried a few dishes and liked all of them, Carne Asada plate, Steak Fajitas, Cheese Enchilada, and Pork Pazole. Chips and salsa were delicious too. Will stop by again next time we are in Cedars City.
Close to the worst I've had, food was pretty bland. Nothing worse than bland refried beans. Ordered taco, enchilada and tamale plate. $13 for very small portions. I've paid a lot less for food with flavor and left overs to take home. So much for trying somewhere new. Blah!!!
Amazing place, by far the best mexican restaurant in town. I love their Horchata and Chimichangas. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Every year they decorate for the holidays and it's so cute and lively. The atmosphere at Lupitas is truly the best!
We were having a tough day until we walked in to Lupita's. Even though they were busy, the service was excellent. As for the food: one of my favorite Mexican meals ever -- probably second only to a meal I had *in* Mexico. The waitress recommended the pork tamales, and now I am recommending them to you. :)
I walked in to see people in the kitchen working with no mask on during a lethal pandemic. I’m not risking my life for tacos.
The food and service is wonderful. When I go to Cedar, this is where I eat!
Truly authentic. Delicious, good price, and friendly staff. Great lunch after leaving a hike in Snow Canyon, Saint George.
Terrible service food was trash! Over priced for sure not even worth the money never will I eat there again
The only place with real mexican food
Changed my desire for piCo de Gallo in my tacos but couldn’t find waitress so asked another waitress. Original waitress didn’t get the message and was given piCo anyways. Waitress suggested that I remove the piCo myself. Never got tortillas with my meal. Never got refills on our drinks. This was around 6:30 Friday night with Some empty tables. we were ignored most of the time. Waitress was an older woman with glasses.
Food was fantastic and the prices are great! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, we also never had to wait long for anything. We will definitely be going back!
Great food and service! CLEAN - CLEAN - CLEAN! A pleasure!
Everything our server Brandi recommended was amazing! Good food and incredible customer service. Super warm vibe🙌🏻
Very busy for a Thursday night. Food was nice and hot. Service was friendly and good
Awesome little gem of a place.. authentic, huge portions, great service! Everything was on point
Best enchiladas in town. This is the way. 👋
This place was horrible don't bother ordering what you want they bring you what ever comes up, saw 3 other people complaining about there order while I was in there. Got horrible stomach cramps at 1 am saw the sun rise from the toilet the next morning.
Incredible service and authentic food. They were extremely accommodating even thought we showed up with 27 people 15 minutes before close and served us with amazing food and smiles. Highly recommend
I was part of a huge birthday party that was planned in advance, however, Lupita's did not seem to have a game plan our anyone dedicated to our group so service was slow and sporadic. Food was great when it came. Overall good experience, just recommend having a game plan when big parties schedule in advance.
An authentic and tasty Mexican meal for us. I got the Taco Burrito enchilada combo and had more than I could eat. The refried beans were little too soupy for me and the service was a little slow but generally we had a good experience here.
Truly good Mexican food here. I enjoyed everything I had . It had a good taste to it. Happy to find this gem in Utah, who would of thunk it . 😊
Good food, service seems a little slow as of late but overall still a good quick lunch.
Majority of customers and waitstaff have Spanish as primary language, a compliment to the food. Traditional Mexican food, lots of variety. Very casual, very family oriented. No alcohol. Great food!
Lupita's in Cedar City Utah is worth stopping at when traveling through on Interstate 15 the food is authentic the food is great and the portions are perfect does it matter what you eat here carne asada enchiladas or tacos it's all good !!! and the locals love this place and the folks who work here are pretty friendly and I enjoyed their salsa bar that offers 6 different Salsa's anywhere from mild to hot depending on what you can tolerate I guess and they have three types of beans to dip your chips into and not many restaurants offer this and if passing through during the winter they got some great Mexican soups beginning with albondigas "meatballs" or how about a hot bowl of pozole and my favorite Cocido de res " beef stew" and you can wash it all down with some ice cold soft drinks or fresh Aguas Frescas Pina "pineapple" Jamaica " hibiscus flower" or an ice cold horchata "rice water" or if you have a sweet tooth try the flan also known as Custard with caramel oh so yummy :)
This place was the moist authentic place I've eaten since being in Mexico. Food was good and the service was great.
I personally thought the food was tasty. My mom told me to put a bad review because she did not enjoy it as much. Also, I think they have some layout problems. Like too many tables is a small space. It gets hard to get around to your table if you go up to get salsa or the bathroom. Also, I think I can handle spice pretty well and that salsa (all 10 or so kinds) gave me a run for my money.
Will always recommend this place, the food is AMAZING. Great margaritas and such lovely service. The chicken enchilada was AMAZINg
Greatest of all time! best mexican food out there.
I had a chicken burrito, and a beef taco. It was VERY good. Loved it. The waitress was friendly and nice and the helper girl (buss girl?) Came by to refill our water and we were checked on numerous times. Overall great experience. It was early and no one was in there, I cant speak on the service when its busy.
Authentic with a side of SPICE! Hot dang! If you are a lover of salsa with a kick, you're in the right place. The chips and salsa were PRIMO. They actually have a salsa bar, and that was just the beginning of our amazing experience. I ordered the combo enchilada and burrito plate. Their carne asada is muy bueno. My spouse ordered a chicken taco and carne asada burrito. Our mouths were on fire, yet, we wanted more. Super cute environment. Loved the enclosed booths. Made it easier for my kids to focus.
It was a nice little spot to stop and experience a different Mexican restaurant. Lots of culture in this place.
The food came out super fast, the portions are huge, and it was delicious!! Great variety of authentic menu options. I got the Mexican Flag Enchiladas and they were awesome. The staff is very friendly and it feels like such a laid-back and fun place.
Oh my gosh! So good! Fabulous and kind service, great food and atmosphere. The shrimp tacos, carne asada plate and nice cold beers were exactly what we wanted after a long day! Highly recommend and kudos for the service. Homemade tortillas...OMG! I would post pictures...but all we have are empty places! 😋
This is a good place for some authentic Mexican tasting food. They even have a legit little selection of all the best Mexican candy at the register.
Absolutely delicious food. Many options. Specials of the Day. Decent prices.
Lupita's Restaurant is a MUST STOP whenever my family is in Cedar City. The food is delicious and the operation is very professional. I own a cafe, and I see the detail-mindedness they demonstrate every visit. Order to-go, enjoy a fabulous feast, and don't forget to leave a tip. Best value in town.
Food was great! Service was phenomenal and the price was right. My fiance and I got the a King sized Enchilada for her, and a regular for me. Both came with refried beans and rice. The ticket came out to be about $16 with tip $20. Not bad at all, we will be coming back!
The food. Was good. The customer service was great. I came here with my family for dinner.
Excellent Mexican restaurant. One of our favorites in Utah. Went here after hiking and really enjoyed everything about this place. The burritos had great flavor and the veggie burrito was huge. The tacos were also great. The shell was definitely unique and just plain excellent. They also have s salsa bar with guacamole on it that the wife really enjoyed. I highly recommend them if you’re ever passing through Cedar City or if you live there.
If the ride “It’s a small world” at Disneyland had a restaurant- this would be it. Clearly family owned- fantastic food and service at a great price.
The food here is really good. This is more authentic Mexican food not tex-mex. They have a salsa and bean bar which is really good. You can also get sauteed onions at the salsa and Bean bar.
